How to Create a Delicious Mediterranean Grilled Power Salad: This super simple Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Salad is the salad of my dreams, and it couldn’t be easier to make! Produced using a succulent and flavorful chicken breast that has been grilled, and then tossed with a speedy Mediterranean red wine dressing.

Salads served for dinner are not only an excellent way to increase the amount of vegetables you consume, but they are also extremely tasty. When it comes to choosing a salad for dinner, I almost always go for grilled chicken salads or just any salad that can satisfy my hunger. Choosing this grilled chicken salad with a Mediterranean flavor was undeniably a smart move.

It was absolutely delicious in every way! I am completely obsessed with the flavors of the Mediterranean, especially feta cheese, artichoke hearts, and olives, so pretty much anything that includes those three ingredients is right up my alley. I’m not going to try and hide the fact that I absolutely adore this incredibly tasty and satisfying Mediterranean chicken salad.

It has most certainly won my affection. Oh, and I completely forgot to mention how simple it is to put together this salad. That’s something that should only ever result in positive outcomes, right?

Ingredients for Mediterranean Grilled Power Salad flavors

You can incorporate any ingredient that draws inspiration from the flavors of the Mediterranean. These are some of the ingredients I put in this salad:

    1. romaine lettuce
    2. feta
    3. Kalamata olives
    4. avocado
    5. artichoke hearts
    6. cucumber
    7. Mediterranean red wine dressing
    8. and obviously the amazing Mediterranean grilled chicken

But you can change a lot of the ingredients or add more if you want to.

    1. A humus
    2. crusty pita
    3. bean sprouts
    4. sauce for tzatziki

In terms of the chicken grilled with a Mediterranean flavor, the preparation is very straightforward. Simply pound the chicken breasts to a thickness of about half an inch, then marinate them in minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, and a blend of salt, pepper, and oregano.

The two most important things to keep in mind when grilling a juicy chicken breast are 1 maintaining an even thickness of about half an inch, and 2 ensuring that the chicken does not become overcooked. Make sure it doesn’t get overcooked by monitoring the temperature with an instant-read thermometer and stopping the cooking process when the meat reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit on the inside.

The vinaigrettes and other salad dressings that are typical of the Mediterranean region are incredibly tasty. The following is the version that I like the best:

    1. Vinegar made from red wine, which contributes acidity
    2. The addition of fresh lemon juice amplifies both the acidity and the brightness of the dish.
    3. Use extra virgin olive oil if you want to use olive oil of a good quality.
    4. Dijon mustard, which contributes to the overall textural quality
    5. garlic that has been finely chopped – you can’t forget this ingredient!
    6. Oregano that has been dried adds an additional layer of flavor.
    7. crumbled feta cheese adds an additional layer of flavor.
    8. according to personal preference, salt and pepper

Check out the recipe card that’s been provided below for more detailed information on the quantities. I’ve also made dressings with sumac and other spices, so if you want to experiment with that, feel free to do so! I swear, if it were only for lunch, I could eat this every single day of the week.

Because it is so simple to put together, this chicken salad inspired by the Mediterranean is an excellent option for a dinner that can be thrown together in a hurry. To make this dish, you simply need to prepare the chicken by marinating it, then cooking it, and tossing the salad ingredients together.

You could even marinate the chicken overnight for a chicken breast that has an even more intense flavor. It would also be a wonderful meal to pack for lunch; however, I would advise slicing the avocado right before eating it and obviously bringing the dressing in a separate container.

I really hope you’ll give this grilled chicken salad a try for your next meal after reading this post. I have no doubt that you are going to enjoy it just as much as I did!
